Our commitment to Veterans

Businesses that hire eligible, unemployed veterans can take advantage of Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC; this credit is also available to certain tax-exempt organizations).  These same businesses would also benefit from the "Returning Heroes Tax Credit" which now provides incentives up to $5,600 for hiring unemployed veterans, as well as the Wounded Warriors Tax Credit which doubles the existing Work Opportunity Tax Credit for long-term, unemployed veterans with service-connected disabilities up to $9,600.  For more details on these credits, see the PATH Act - WOTC Interim Instructions on the Department of Labor website
